Why visit Arunachal Pradesh?
Arunachal Pradesh doesn’t feel like a rushed checklist holiday. It feels like the mountains have pressed pause. One moment you are cruising past misty valleys. The next, colourful prayer flags are fluttering above a high-altitude road while snow-draped peaks fill the horizon.
This tour takes you through some of the most loved places in Arunachal Pradesh. You’ll visit the iconic Tawang Monastery, cross the spectacular Sela Pass, see Sela Lake, admire Jung Waterfall, and explore the serene landscapes around Dirang. If permissions are granted by the Indian Army, the itinerary also includes Bum La Pass.
For travellers from Mumbai and across India, it is an easy way to experience the Northeast without worrying about hotel coordination, local transfers, meal planning, or route logistics. You simply arrive in Guwahati. The Himalayan adventure begins from there.

Important travel tips
Arunachal Pradesh is beautiful, though it is also a high-altitude Himalayan region. Pack warm layers, sturdy walking shoes, sunscreen, sunglasses, a rain jacket, personal medicines, and a power bank. Weather can change quickly in the mountains, so a little preparation goes a long way.
Carry two passport-size photographs for every traveller. You should also keep photocopies of a valid photo ID, including both front and back sides. Accepted documents include Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Voter ID, or a valid passport.
Bum La Pass access depends on Army permission. Flight or train delays and cancellations can affect travel schedules, so it is wise to keep some flexibility around your arrival and return plans.
