A Call to the Soul: The Journey of a Lifetime

There are trips we take for leisure, and then there are journeys we take to find ourselves. The Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is not just a destination; it is an awakening. Rising 6,638 meters into the heavens, Mount Kailash stands as the spiritual axis of the world—the Axis Mundi. For Hindus, it is the eternal abode of Lord Shiva, where he sits in deep meditation. For Jains, it is Ashtapad, the sacred ground where the first Tirthankara, Lord Rishabhdev (Adinath), attained Nirvana (Moksha).

Imagine standing before that snow-capped pyramid, the air thin but charged with cosmic energy, chanting "Om Namah Shivaya" or "Jai Jinendra" as tears of gratitude roll down your cheeks. This is not just sightseeing; this is a homecoming for your soul.

At NFTT WORLD (Nagfani Tours and Travels), we understand the sanctity of this pilgrimage. We don’t just take you to Kailash; we hold your hand through every step of this divine parikrama. Join us for the Ashtapad Kailash Mansarovar Yatra 2026, a journey crafted with devotion, comfort, and pure vegetarianism at its heart.

Spiritual Importance: Why This Yatra Matters

For Hindus: Mount Kailash is not just a mountain; it is the physical manifestation of Mount Meru. It is believed that Lord Shiva resides here in an eternal state of meditation, creating the force that holds the universe together. A dip in Lake Mansarovar is said to wash away the sins of a hundred lifetimes.

For Jains (Ashtapad Tirth): This location is profoundly sacred as Ashtapad. It is here that the first Tirthankara, Rishabhdev (Adinath), shed his earthly attachments and achieved Nirvana. The optional trek to Ashtapad offered in our package allows you to pay homage to this momentous event in Jain cosmology.

Q2: What if I cannot complete the trek (Parikrama)? No problem. If you are unable to trek, you can stay back at Darchan in the hotel/guest house while the group completes the Parikrama.

Q3: Is Oxygen available? Yes. NFTT WORLD provides oxygen cylinders for emergencies. You can also buy small portable oxygen cans in Tibet for approx. 20-30 Yuan.

Q4: Will my phone work in Tibet? Indian SIM cards do not work. You can buy a Chinese SIM card at Taklakot which offers internet and incoming calls.

Q5: Is Jain food really available at 4500 meters? Absolutely. We take immense pride in our "Chauka" style management. Our cooks prepare fresh Jain food (dal, rice, roti, subji) even at high altitudes.
